She lives in Western Washington at the base of picturesque Mount Rainier with Marc, her husband of over thirty-four years. They are the parents of four grown children and a growing number of adorable grandchildren.

She has a bachelor degree from Brigham Young University and is the oldest of five children, a daughter of two artists. Living in various states growing up, she has spent most of her life in Western Washington. She’s enjoyed reading and writing ever since she was a small child and writing books has been a life long dream.

She has a great love of the outdoors and a particular passion for the beautiful Pacific Northwest—including the rain. She loves to hike, snowshoe, kayak, and go tent camping. Working in the garden, sewing, and especially knitting are some of her favorite activities. Genealogy is an obsession because of all the intriguing stories of people in her family history. She loves animals, especially her two sweet cats. Baby humans are her favorite thing of all.
